選校已經夠難，如果還要針對較為專業的科系去選，像是時裝設計、造型或時尚行銷，那就是難上加難了！而且時尚學校不像全球頂尖的醫學大學、法律學院、或是一般的文學院那樣，有足夠的資訊可供參考，因此Fashionista從2010年開始企劃製作的全球50大最佳時尚學院排名，便成了嚮往就讀時尚學院的學生參考的重要指標！

而2014年版的Fashionista全球50大最佳時尚學院排名，義大利方面仍舊是由Istituto Marangoni歐洲時尚與設計學院(排名第9)佔據義大利最佳時尚學院的頭銜！值得一提的是，與2013年份的排名相比，Istituto Marangoni歐洲時尚與設計學院由第10位上升至第9位。

Fashionista 2014年版的全球50大最佳時尚學院排名是以學費考量、知名度、畢業生就業率、學生與畢業生評價、與其他標準(如師資、學校提供的實際與商業訓練、社交活動、獎學金等等)綜合考量。
